Rutgers @ USF: Attendance for USF’s 100th School Win

USF Fans, really? 25,775 attended the game Wednesday night at Raymond James stadium.

39,456 was the announced attendance, based on ticket distribution. That means a full third of the ticket holders didn’t go.

Yes. It’s a Wednesday game. Yes, it’s two unranked teams. Yes, it’s an early game. Tickets started at $5. FIVE DOLLARS! ¡CINCO DOLORES! They even had a buy one, get one for walk-ups.

Poor showing, Tampa Bay. Land of some of the biggest bandwagon fans you’ve ever met. This is the smallest attendance this season for USF at Raymond James Stadium. This was USF’s 100th win in school history. Quickest team to accomplish this feat in the entire Big East. Also, first time USF has beat Rutgers in 4 years.
